Gert has been successfully active in the VC-market for nearly 30 years. He served as chairman or board-member in numerous quoted and unquoted companies in the field of e-, m- and social-commerce, mobile advertising, telecommunication networks and software with headquarters in Germany, France, US and Switzerland.
As the founder and CEO of Creathor Venture – a leading pan-european venture capital company – he supports as the lead investor a portfolio of over 30 portfolio-companies focused on the above mentioned markets but also on cloud-computing, m-health and personalized medicine.
He co-founded former technologie holding and as managing director he built it up to become one of the largest and most successful VC-firms in Europe.
He is a McKinsey & Comp. Alumni and started his business career in France as a researcher at the DGRST, the renowned French research-organization.
He holds three m. Sc.: in mathematics, in solid state physics and in operational research as well as an MBA and a PHD in mathematics.
Pierre-Emmanuel has over 20 years experience in marketing, business development and new technologies spanning the telecommunications, software and digital content industries. He is currently director of innovation and new markets at SFR, where he is responsible for business development in payment and digital identity, audience monetization (SFR Regie) and big data.
He also leads ‘SFR Developpement’, sfr’s innovative technologies investment vehicle.
Previously, he was CEO of Streamezzo, a mobile app development startup.
Jean-Charles Mathey joined the NRJ Group in 1994 as regional director of Regie Networks and in 1996 was promoted to director of Regie Networks (local governing group). He was then appointed group commercial director overseeing all business operations and became a member of the board.
As director general of the NRJ Group between 2005 and 2007, he oversaw the hugely successful NRJ Production, the Sun King, (380 performances, over 1 million albums sold, record profit of €18 million and turnover of more than € 70 million). In 2008 he founded a leading outdoor mobile advertising company, Quadriplay.
Mokhtar is an experienced entrepreneur and acknowledged leader in the mobile & digital marketing industry. Since founding Sofialys in 2003, Mokhtar has been instrumental in establishing it as a global company with a true international presence. Mokhtar is a regular speaker at industry events, has been a member of the French branch of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) since 2005 and has been actively involved in the standardization of mobile advertising formats.
Mokhtar is based in Sofialys’ Paris HQ.
